The e-commerce business is booming across the globe, be it shopping from websites like amazon, flipkart, souq etc. or ordering food, medicines, flowers etc. The need for ‘last mile delivery,’ is emerging & also becoming more & more complicated. Some food has to be transported hot, some cold & some at room temperature! If you have bought a nice cosmetic cream (online) in Dubai in July (when its 40*C outside), you would want it to receive the packaging intact & of course not the cream leaking everywhere! All these realistic expectations are posing a great challenge for the logistics & delivery companies, especially, when they want to deliver things in the best manner & in shortest possible time frame. The challenge only gets aggravated, as one common mode of transportation used is motorbikes& how do such things be achieved in the given constraints?

We at BikeKit, intend to bring in more than 30+ years of our auto sector experience & resolve these challenges for the logistics companies. The most common products used by these companies are Fibre Boxes and Backpack Bags. The fibre boxes or the LED delivery boxes, are mounted on the motorbike & used for delivering various products. In UAE, the government has defined proper regulations on use of these boxes, keeping in mind the safety of all stakeholders involved. The backpack bags, a very common sighting, are shoulder bags used by delivery boys. Though this product has lot of limitations, but due to its lower cost, it is the most preferred option used by logistics companies.

The R&D team at BikeKit, has been working tirelessly to bring in substantial innovation, especially in the LED delivery Boxes, to fulfill the emerging demands of these logistics companies, restaurants, e-commerce players etc. Our first product due in March 2019, will have industry first features not witnessed so far!
